Science Camps
Modeled after our long running Science Camp for Girls the Co-ed Science camps offer an opportunity for both male and female students to develop a love and appreciation for the sciences. Class sizes are kept small with average student teacher ratios of 1:10. Our curriculums aim to enfuse summer fun with scientic exploration in a warm and supportive atmosphere that challenges students to think critically about the world in which they live. Through hands on expirements and daily labs, students will learn to ask the questions that matter. Lead by our strong science faculty, they will learn the process of scientific exploration.
The Co-Ed Science Camps offer budding scientists the following majors from which to choose:
Grades 4 - 6:
Grades 6 - 8:
Grades 9-11:
Science Camps - Staff Profiles
Education Unlimited believes in small-group, immersive learning with subject matter experts and experienced teachers. We strive to provide industry-leading instruction to all of our students and hold all staff to the highest possible standards. Staff assignments vary by program and location. Some of our recent staff members for this program include:
Check back closer to the start of camp for details on our 2025 staff.
We will continue to add additional staff members as enrollment and availability dictate. Details are posted on additional staff members as they are confirmed.
Upcoming Camps
Anatomy/Physiology - 4th-6th
Anatomy and Physiology scientists will be dissecting the wonders of the human body. In this camp, we will zoom into multiple body systems using interactive and kinesthetic laboratory explorations.
Throughout the week, scientists will have opportunities to wonder, lead, and explore their curiosities of the human body. Scientists will begin the week investigating the curvy, mushy, and aromatic digestive system. Understanding how the human body obtains the nutrients required for survival wil...
Astronomy - 6th-8th
In Astronomy, students will explore our solar system and the universe beyond! We’ll start out by revisiting and simulating the Big Bang theory, then study the surface of the sun, explore light diffraction, and build our own water rockets! Campers will also have the opportunity to retrace Galileo’s footsteps and explore the universe as he did – through the lens of a simple, refracting telescope that’s easy enough to assemble in camp, yet powerful enough to see the Jovian moons and Saturn!
W...
Astrophysics - 9th-12th
The astrophysics course will establish a firm introduction of the forces at work upon the fabric of the universe and how these dynamics interplay to create the structure and harmony that we observe today.
Beginning from the cosmic chaos, astrophysics will delineate the foundation goals of the field through tracing the evolution of the universe from its origins through to modern times and probing into its future fate.
The students will delve into the depths of the cosmos to push their unders...

Intro to Astrophysics
Cardiology 6th-8th
In one of our newest Education Unlimited offerings, scientists will uncover the complexities of the cardiovascular system though a wealth of interactive and inquiry-based experiments, and project based, hands on activities. New in Summer 2019, the Cardiology program offers your budding scientist the opportunity to deepen their understanding of body systems. It is the perfect bridge between our Anatomy and Physiology course, and prior to enrolling in Neuroanatomy. Scientists will explore how...
Genetics - 6th-8th
Genetics
Intro to Engineering - 4th-6th
In Intro to Engineering, students will learn the basic principles of engineering design and use this process to solve a variety of ‘build challenges’, which must survive performance trials and unexpected obstacles along the way! Students will work collaboratively with one another and our amazing instructors to study the principles of force, energy, mass, and other fundamental properties in Newtonian physics. Using real-world buildings and other edifices as inspiration, campers will start th...
Marine Science - 6th-8th
Marine Science: Marine Science students will "dive" headfirst into one of the world’s least-explored places – the ocean! In this camp, we will take a multi-disciplinary approach to learning and incorporate studies in chemistry, oceanography, ecology, and marine biology to learn about Earth's amazing seas and the animals and plants that inhabit them.
Campers will begin their week by investigating water and discovering how its unique properties shape our oceans, its currents, and its biomes b...
Neuroanatomy - 7th-9th
In this course, students will learn the anatomy and physiology of various systems in the brain and apply what they know to fictitious neurological patients. Specifically, we will focus on the cerebral cortex, various sub-cortical structures, the visual system, somatosensory system, and the motor system in the brain and spinal cord. The culminating event on Friday will be a case-studies test where students will act like neurologists to predict where a lesion in the brain or spinal cord is in a...

Psychology
In Let’s Get Psyched About Psychology, students will be introduced to some of the fundamental foundations of psychology. Students will explore and apply basic psychological principles including personality, sensation and perception, memory, stages of psychological development, understanding of self, relationships with others, and interactions with social groups. As students are learning the basic principles of psychology throughout the week, they will write a children’s story exhibiting what ...

Quantum Mechanics - 10th-12th
Robotics - 6th-8th
In this course, students will explore the emerging science of robot mechanics as they build and program their robot from scratch, remotely control it, experiment with light and pressure sensors, create drive trains for varying terrains, and play robotic sports.
Students will use the VEX robotics platform, the world’s premier classroom robotics platform. We will begin by building a chassis - our robot needs a stable structure to provide physical support and like a skeleton, it holds everyth...
